Summer Camps and Workshops

Several summer camps and workshops are offered in Missouri and throughout the United States for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.

Among those offering summer camps and workshops in Missouri are:

Missouri School for the Deaf - Family Fun Weekend usually held in June at MSD with families of deaf children 0-6 from around the state invited.

St. Joseph's Institute for the Deaf offers Sibling Camp, an annual two-wee day camp for hearing-impaired children and their siblings to foster a better a relationship between the children and to offer fun and educational activities.

Central Institute for the Deaf offers summer programs.

Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center in Missouri offers naturalist programs for the deaf and hard of hearing families.

John Tracy Clinic

Families of young, deaf children from all over the world are welcomed to the Clinic each summer for a three-week, family experience. The program includes a preschool for the 2-5 year old deaf child, audiological services, parent classes and support groups, and a sibling program for brothers and sisters, grades 1-6.
